Brief

Provide project management and cost consultancy services for the refurbishment of a Georgian Townhouse and family home in Dublin 6. In a dilapidated repair upon commencement, this house had the added challenges of structural integrity and highly restricted access.

Response

Extensive structural works were required to support the existing and new structures including the retention of neighbouring properties. The final design maximized the natural daylight to the mid terrace dwelling, as well as reducing the basement to improve floor to ceiling heights. A new conservatory and tiered garden enhance the amount of natural light to the basement.
